Nightlands Volume 2 On Sale Now!
Jonathan Dennison’s unparalleled Chiroptera Press has just released Nightlands Volume 2! This beautiful zine styled book can be purchased in both hardcover and softcover. It features writings by Thomas Ligotti, Matt Cardin, Matthew M. Bartlett, Wade German, Dejan Ognjanovic, Julia Bozzone, Jon Padgett, S.T. Joshi and Chad Hensley. This is my wife, Julia’s first published piece in a book (after writing many pieces over the years for magazines, newspapers and online sites) and she is psyched to be featured in such an extraordinary collection with the highest attention to art, design and presentation which Chiroptera is so well known for! The cover art is by the legendary Harry O. Morris.
Act fast as this pre-order just went on sale today and is already on track to sell out in both formats very quickly! More information about the book from Chiroptera:
ON SALE NOW: Nightlands Volume 2. This issue is immensely packed with incredible talent. Ligotti's "The Unholy City" is a print version of the audio he performed years ago with Durtro. Bartlett, Padgett, and German's work is all new. All non-fiction is new aside from Cardin's, which is reprinted for an out-of-print Cadabra Records LP which will be new for most of you. The Necronomicon Press feature is worth the price of admission alone. Ognjanović's essay "Thomas Ligotti and "Lovecraft's Dry Husk" is a masterwork in itself, which won't surprise readers of his SPECTRAL LIGHTS. It is also a preview for his forthcoming study of Ligotti's fiction. The total print run is 600x. 200x hardcovers will be available at $70 each and 200x soft at $36 each (remaining numbers are reserved for wholesale). The hardcovers include a dust jacket this time around.

Nightlands Volume 2
Nightlands is not only a study of classic and modern weird fiction, but a celebration and nod to some of the greatest weird fiction zines out there: Nyctalops, Whispers, Necronomicon Press, Weirdbook, Borderland, Dagon, and so many more. Many of us grew up on these wonderful zines and this is a way that Chiroptera Press can give back, as well as break new ground.
