Nightlands Festival presents: Pictures of Apocalypse pre-show book and record release event - tickets now on sale!

June 1st, 2023 marks the opening night of Cadabra Records’ Nightlands Festival and this incredibly special show is a book and record release to celebrate Thomas Ligotti’s Pictures of Apocalypse. Chiroptera Press will imminently release Ligotti’s phenomenal new collection of poetry which is beautifully illustrated throughout by Cadabra and Chiroptera founder, Jonathan Dennison. Cadabra Records will also be releasing an LP of Jon Padgett brilliantly reading Ligotti’s poems set to a soundtrack I provided for all of the poems. This vinyl release will also feature Dennison’s amazing art from the book. Weird fiction author and voice actor Matthew M. Bartlett will be providing an opening performance as part of the evening and I’ll be providing the live score. After that, Jon Padgett and I will perform Pictures of Apocalypse and more live. Further, there will also be an art gallery component to the event as some of Dennison’s art for the book will be on display and for sale that night. The book and record release event will be taking place in the historic downtown area of Haddonfield, New Jersey at the wonderful and elegant Book Restoration Bindery shop run by Domonique Alesi.

June 2nd and 3rd are the full days of the Nightlands Festival and the entire schedule for those days are absolutely mind-blowing! More on that very soon.

Here are further details about the June 1st event from Cadabra Records. There are only under 20 tickets left for this intimate performance and you can purchase tickets here:
